Under the auspices of Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF) the government on Wednesday handed over essential supplies to the Regional Health Department, Region Six (6).  The BNTF, which is a sub agency of the Ministry of Finance, receives financial support from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).

The supplies include cleaning and sanitising products which were handed over to the regional authorities by Senior Minister in the Office of the President with Responsibility for Finance, Dr. Ashni Singh, for distribution to various health institutions in the East Berbice/Corentyne Region (Region 6).
