Music producer wrote hours before he was found dead along with his friend, an AA flight attendant

An American Airline flight attendant and a local music producer were found dead in a car in Marriott Hotel’s parking lot, just after midnight on Saturday.
The dead men have been identified as Justin Teixeira – a 34-year-old American Airline flight attendant – and Paishnarine Richie Hansraj – a 25-year-old music producer from Hague Backdam, West Coast Demerara.
Hours before the men were found dead, Hansraj wrote on his Facebook page: “‘I hope the world find peace today I love you all!’
Teixeira on the other hand wrote: “Life is like a coin. You can spend it any way you wish, but you only spend it once.”
Village Voice News understands that Hansraj was expected to get married in May.
In a statement hours after the discovery, the Guyana Police Force said the deaths are currently being investigated and CCTV footage from the Hotel’s parking lot is being reviewed.

According to the Force, at about 00:16 hrs on Saturday April 23, 2022, police at Brickdam Police Station received information that two bodies were lying motionless in a car in the Marriott Hotel parking lot.
As a result, the scene was visited a few minutes later at 00:30hrs by police investigators.
“Investigators were told by a 28 year-old employee of the Marriot Hotel that on Friday April 22, 2022 at about 23:30hrs, he received a phone call from June Teixeira, a 60 year-old pensioner of Middle Road, La Penitence, Georgetown that her son Justin Teixeira, a 34-year-old Flight Attendant with American Airline, was having a seizure and if someone can check on him,” the police detailed.
The hotel employee reportedly dispatched another employee to check on Teixeira, who was a guest at the Marriott but when the employee checked the room he was staying in on the sixth floor it was found to be empty.

The employee then went to Teixeira’s black Vezel motorcar #PAC 2607 that was parked in Marriott’s parking lot where he observed Teixeira sitting in the driver’s seat. At the time, all the windows of the vehicle were half-way down.
The employee said he opened the front passenger door and discovered Hansraj sitting in a crunch-like position. Both Teixeira and Hansraj appeared to be motionless.
He immediately called 911 and the ambulance with EMT arrived along with the police where they were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The Crime Scene Unit investigators then processed the scene and bodies.  No marks of violence were seen on the exposed parts of the bodies. “A plastic container containing a whitish hard substance suspected to be narcotics was found on the back seat of the vehicle,” the police said.
The bodies were escorted to the Memorial Garden Funeral Home awaiting PME.
