The Alliance For Change joins the joyful chorus of those celebrating Christmas 2021. Christmas is an all embracing time for Guyanese here at home and in the Diaspora and our favourite time for family, fun and frolic and brings out the best spirit of giving and forgiving.

There is much to celebrate this year; despite the challenges that everyone, especially, ordinary Guyanese, continue to endure. Unfortunately, our society is being overrun by persons with extremist views and opinions; those grinches who will stop at nothing to ruin Christmas and to destroy the lives and reputations of others. The overwhelming majority who want a peaceful and harmonious Guyana must not allow a few, to drive us into ethnic and hate-filled camps and enclaves.
For a moment, however, let us set aside our differences, our difficulties, and our disappointments and celebrate the birth of the Christ child and to welcome the spirit of joy and peace for the holidays.
