Woman stabs man after he disrupted her rum drinking

A man is currently hospitalised after he was viciously stabbed by his partner after he allegedly disrupted her rum drinking spree on Wednesday.

In a press release the police said the suspect turned up at the Sparendaam Police Station with a knife in her possession on Wednesday.

She informed the police that she had stabbed her reputed husband twice.

According to her, the man had started to physically assault her while she was imbibing with friends and she retaliated.

Police said the man is currently hospitalised in a stable condition while the woman is currently in custody as investigation continues.
