Persons at the scene reported that Wilson had moments earlier returned home when she was confronted by her partner , known as ‘Lawrence’. The man accused her of being unfaithful to him. The two argued and the man pulled out a knife and stabbed her multiple times about her body. The weapon was left in the woman’s upper body.

A neighbour said he heard the two fighting on the back porch of the house where the woman lived sometime around 19:00hrs. He said he then heard  someone screamed and the perpetrator subsequently walked out of the yard and left the area in his car. The house where the incident occurred is situated along a passageway.

Police subsequently arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
