…extension now at June 30, 2021

The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) has announced the extension of tax relief measures on medical and other supplies for COVID-19 prevention, care and treatment in Guyana until June 30, 2021.

Several items will continue to attract no customs duty, Value Added Tax (VAT) and Excise Tax (where necessary) until June 30, 2021. For VAT purposes, these items have been zero-rated which means that no tax should pass on to consumers.
