Authorities here on Monday afternoon were probing reports of a boat with dead bodies.
Village Voice News was told by a senior Guyana Defence Force officer said that a team has been dispatched to investigate the reports. This publication was told that the boat was spotted adrift in the Atlantic Ocean earlier on Monday.
According to the GDF officer, an interagency team is actively investigating the matter and the vessel is being towed to shore.
