Trio arrested in relation to Robbery Under Arms investigation

…following discovery of marijuana, abandoned motorcycles

Police have arrested three persons following the raid of several homes located in Regional Police Division #4 ‘A’ on Friday.

According to a statement, Ranks of aforementioned Division commanded by an Assistant Superintendent at about 03:30h conducted the raid where they discovered two abandoned motorcycles and 37 grammes of marijuana.

The three suspects, a 34-year-old self-employed male of Tucville Squatting Area; a 28-year-old labourer of Non Pariel, East Coast Demerara (ECD) and a 48-year-old labourer of Melanie Damashana, ECD remain in police custody assisting with investigations.

The motorcycles and the marijuana have since been lodged.
