Friendship labourer’s body found in Canje Creek

The body of Joachim Peters, a 33-year-old labourer of Friendship, East Bank Demerara was on Sunday, January 17, 2021 discovered at Sand Landing, Canje Creek, Berbice.

Peters’ Body was discovered at about 17:30h.

According to reports, Peters fell into the Canje Creek on January 15, 2021 at about 18:00h.

The body is at Bailey’s Funeral Parlour. A post mortem examination has been scheduled.
