According to reports, at about 07:15h on January 19, an employee of the Commission observed that her desk’s drawer was opened and tumbled.

Additional checks revealed that the drawers in four other offices were also tumbled.

The missing flash drives contain dismissal, transfer, promotions, pension, qualifications, and appointment information for employees of the various Ministries and Regions.

Police said too that a window above a lavatory located in the southern side of the building was broken; the toilet was open.
“…However no signs of breakage were seen on the premises,” Police said while disclosing that fingerprints have been retrieved and persons are being questioned as investigations continue.
