Police are investigating a fire of unknown origin which completely destroyed a North Haslington, East Coast Demerara (ECD) home on Saturday leaving a 25-year-old woman homeless.

The victim, Ann Eve Knights, resided at the 10 by 20 feet wooden structure with her sister. The building was resting on several concrete pillars about four feet off the earth surface facing west in an unfenced yard. The house did not have electricity at the time.
