It is alleged that a car (PRR 4561), which at the time was being driven by 39-year-old fisherman Bryon Mahendra, was proceeding east along the northern side of Cove and John Public Road (E.C.D) when the accident occurred.

In the process of doing so, the motor cycle CK 5568, which was proceeding form east to west, overtook several vehicles along the left side of the road and collided the car.
As a result of the collision, the Special Constable fell to the road resulting in her sustaining injuries about her body. She was then picked up by public spirited citizen and taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where she was seen and examined by a doctor on duty and admitted a patient.
