The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) has opened a store within the Footsteps Mall, Regent Street, Georgetown in what the company promises to be the first in a series of additional retail locations across the country.

“Our focus at GTT is to completely satisfy our customer. We want to make the lives of our customers easier in as many ways as we can and that includes making sure they have easy access to GTT stores both in and outside of Georgetown,” said GTT’s VP of Sales, Eshwar Thakurdin.

Thakurdin noted that the Regent Street store is intended to provide customers with an efficient, convenient and complete retail experience.

“Our goal is to ensure that our customers across Guyana have access to reliable telecommunication products and services – that’s why we will continue to work diligently to increase our distribution footprint beyond the greater Georgetown areas,” Thakurdin stated.

There will be no change to the regular GTT opening hours for the new Regent Street store (Monday to Friday 8AM to 3:30PM and on Saturdays from 8AM to 2PM).

A priority hour for seniors and essential workers is observed from 8AM to 9AM daily, the company said while adding that customers can also look forward to the announcement of extended opening hours during the Christmas season.
