Former president David Granger has returned to Cuba for a routine checkup in relation to his 2018 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma diagnosis which continues to be in remission.

Speaking with the Village Voice News on Sunday, Opposition Leader, Joseph Harmon confirmed that Mr. Granger left for Cuba on Saturday. “It is a routine checkup because he’d passed the time when he should have the checkup because there were no flights to Cuba, and the airports were all locked down. So, this is the first opportunity that he got so he utilised it,” Harmon said.
