Flight Agent robbed at gun point in front of Plaisance home

A 28-year-old flight agent of Prince William Street, Plaisance, East Coast Demerara (ECD) was on Saturday night robbed of one shoulder bag valued $9000, a mobile phone valued $45,000 and $31, 200 cash outside of her home.

According to a police report, the victim, Koretta Otho was robbed by two unidentified men, one armed with a hand gun at about 22:00h on Saturday. Otho said she was standing in front of her yard when she was confronted by the men, one of whom held her at gun point and demanded she handed over her valuables.

The woman said she refused and the unarmed suspect dealt her several cuffs to her face and relieved her of the items aforementioned.

The duo made good their escape on two bicycles.
