In celebration of its 55th anniversary being observed this month, the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) will conduct a paratrooping exercise on Sunday, November 22, 2020.

The Force has invited members of the public to observe the event at 16:00 hours in the environs of the playfield at Base Camp Ayanganna. However, all persons present must comply with existing COVID-19 regulations and restrictions.
In celebration of its 55th anniversary, the GDF has also commissioned a new Junior Ranks’ Mess Hall and Club and a new modern barrack accommodation at Base Camp Ayanganna and Base Camp Stephenson respectively.
