Both Accused were Represented by Attorneys Donovan Rangaiah, in collaboration with Sanjeev Datadin and Motie Singh.

Jonas was on Saturday night stabbed to death on the Albion Public Road, Berbice, whilst trying to end a fight between two of his friends.

According to information reaching Village Voice, Jonas was in the company of a few other friends when another man ran up to them in what appeared to be an attempted robbery. However, the men ended up in a scuffle and it was then that Jonas decided to intervene.
As a result, he was stabbed to his body and was left on the roadside bleeding profusely from the wounds.

Meanwhile, the other men received chop wounds but not as bad as Jonas.

Jonas 27, worked as a labourer and was out with his friends for a Saturday evening hang when he met his untimely death.
Jonas was picked up and rushed to the Port Mourant Hospital but succumbed moments later.
