Joint Services member nabbed with ganja

Police in Regional Division # 3 on Thursday afternoon intercepted two suspects-one of them a member of the joint services in a shop at Last Bridge Westminter, West Bank Demerara with a quantity of marijuana.

Polcie said during a search of the men’s persons two bags containing 47 zip lock packets of compressed marijuana weighing in excess of 47 grams, were found. A 23-year-old member of the Joint Services and a 23-year-old labourer of La Parfaite Harmonie, WBD 47, have since been arrested and are being processed for court.
