Today Guyanese, particularly residents of Cane View,/Mocha on the East Bank Demerara, mark the one year anniversary when the Government of Guyana turned on the People of Guyana, sent in heavy duty vehicles to destroy people and their properties, under the watchful eyes of members of the Guyana Police Force.

Guyana, Türkiye move to strengthen parliamentary cooperation

January 5th,  is a day the people of Cane View promised to never forget. A day too, Guyanese must never forget. To commemorate this ugly turned of events in the nation’s history and citizens’ quest to be treated with respect and dignity, the Mocha community will host an hour of African drumming and brief reflection The event, which starts from 9am to 10am, will be on Pepper Hill.

Villagers and friends are invited to join.
