GPHC Acknowledges Patient Complaint

The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) takes patient feedback very seriously. We are aware of the recent media article in the Stabroek newspaper, dated September 17th, in which a patient shared a concerning experience at our facility.

We wish to express our profound concern regarding the patient’s experience. The welfare of our patients is of utmost importance to us, and we are committed to addressing their concerns promptly and comprehensively.

To ensure a thorough investigation into this matter, GPHC is launching an internal inquiry to gather all necessary details and evaluate the situation. We are dedicated to improving our services continuously and will take appropriate actions based on the findings.

We encourage anyone who has feedback, concerns, or compliments regarding their experiences at our facility to use this channel to share their thoughts. Your input is invaluable in helping us enhance our services and provide the highest standard of care.
