In an early morning Facebook Live video, former Minister Simona Broomes delivered an inspiring message to the Guyanese people, celebrating the power of the people and their triumphant victory in the face of PPP promises to decimate the opposition. Ms Broomes highlighted the resilience and determination that led to the success of the APNU coalition, despite the ruling PPP government’s substantial financial resources aimed at suppressing opposition representation in their strongholds.

Simona’s morning message of encouragement to APNU supporters resonated with viewers who joined the live stream. She emphasized that every significant endeavor starts with a single step and shared her observations that ignited her resolve to stand up for her country. With her sights set on the future, Simona affirmed that nobody should rest on their laurels, emphasizing the need for continued action and vigilance to bring about meaningful change.

Broomes called for unity and accountability, emphasizing that it was not only the responsibility of politicians but also the people themselves to ensure that promises were kept and progress was made.
