Addressing plans to uplight the Burnham Court, the Mayor presented a 3D model of the Urban Development Plan and Green Engineering for Parade Ground/Burnham Court as an insight into the thinking of the City Fathers and Mothers and what the Council offers, if given the resources and space to function independently.

According to the mayor, the modern facility includes changes to fixtures such as the surface, drainage, lighting, seating accommodations, sanitary convenience, parking, and security.

Due to a lack of financial resources inclusive of funding and support from the Central Government, the Council is unable to execute a project of this magnitude.  But the absence of state funding has not thwarted the determination of the Council to pursue their vision as advised they “will continue to seek support through private/public partnerships in hopes that these plans can be realised.”

The 3D model was created by Mr. Kabila Hollingsworth Assistant City Engineer (ag). #onthegroundonthejob
