A thirty one year old businessman of Armadale West Coasat Berbice died after he lost control of his vehicle while driving along the West Berbice Highway at #8 Village WCB Wednesday afternoon.

The dead man was identified as Remy Ramsammy owner and proprietor of the Fix It Tyre Shop at  Arnmadale West Coast Berbice.

Reports said that Ramsammy was driving a silver grey Fielder Wagon s vehicle west on the southern side of  the public road when he lost control.

The vehicle crossed over into the northern lane and then  slammed into a utility pole alongside the road.
Himself and a  female passenger in the vehicle, who was the only other occupant,  were  extracted from the badly mangled motor car  and  rushed   to the Fort Wellington Cottage Hospital  fpr attention.

The female was admitted but Ramsammy was however  pronounced dead on arrival..
The Police are investigating. (END)
