The World Health Organisation (WHO) runs a “Science in 5 on COVID” programme to bring about awareness and education on the virus, including the vaccines that have been approved, the side effects, if any from the vaccines, and who should take the vaccines. Note, the vaccines approved by the WHO had undergone three trial phases and satisfied WHO’s requirements about around safety and efficacy. The Sputnik vaccine has not yet been approved by the WHO.
