When the charge was read to him he pleaded guilty.

A 50-year-old labourer was charged on Wednesday and sentenced to 20 hours of community service or one week imprisonment for breaking and entering the F.E. Pollard Primary School on Sunday.

Appearing before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennon at Georgetown Magistrate’s Court #1 on Monday was Milton Smith of Thomas Street Kitty, Georgetown. He was arrested for the crime on Sunday by a rank from Impact Base. He was charged on Monday for break and enter and larceny, contrary to Section 229 (a) of the Criminal Law Offenses Act, chapter 8:01.
