New Caribbean-born brand SUPERFAN brings a fresh approach to West Indies Cricket merchandise, blending the heritage of the game with contemporary Caribbean style.

Cricket West Indies (CWI) and SUPERFAN today announced the launch of the first SUPERFAN x West Indies Cricket collection, a new line of licensed West Indies Cricket fan merchandise designed and produced by SUPERFAN to celebrate West Indies Cricket, Caribbean culture and the supporters who carry the Maroon around the world.

The collection introduces a new approach to West Indies Cricket merchandise, designed not only for match day, but for the way a new generation of fans dresses, travels, celebrates and represents the Caribbean every day.

BORN IN THE CARIBBEAN. MADE FOR THE CARIBBEAN.

SUPERFAN was created by Trinidad and Tobago entrepreneur and designer Nicolette Leacock, founder of Caribbean Carnival and lifestyle brand MRCH. After building MRCH around products designed specifically with the Caribbean consumer in mind, Leacock saw an opportunity to bring that same design-led approach to Caribbean sport and fan culture.

“I grew up seeing what West Indies Cricket means to the Caribbean. It is one of the few things that can make us forget which island we are from for a moment and collectively identify as West Indian,”

said Leacock.

“I created SUPERFAN because I saw an opportunity to rethink what fanwear could look like for us. West Indies Cricket has an incredible visual history and cultural significance, and I wanted to create pieces that let fans carry that identity beyond a match, a tournament or the stadium.”

The licensing partnership also represents an opportunity to introduce a new generation of supporters to the heritage of West Indies Cricket through fashion, storytelling and culture, a goal echoed by CWI CEO Chris Dehring.

“West Indies Cricket has always been bigger than the game itself, and we are committed to creating more accessible and diverse ways for people to connect with what the West Indies represents. Our WI OUTSIDE! campaign during the 2026 International Home Series, including ‘Ladies FREE’ match days and our continued commitment to free entry for kids, reflected that approach”,

he said.

“This collaboration with SUPERFAN builds on this by creating fanwear that extends beyond traditional cricket merchandise and appeals to anyone who connects with Caribbean culture, style and the West Indies identity.”

The inaugural SUPERFAN collection draws inspiration from the visual history of West Indies Cricket and classic Caribbean sporting style, reinterpreted through a modern lens.

The range includes apparel, headwear and accessories designed to move beyond traditional team merchandise and into the everyday wardrobes of West Indies supporters.

A NEW CHAPTER IN WEST INDIES FANDOM

The SUPERFAN licensing partnership forms part of a broader effort to create new ways for supporters to engage with West Indies Cricket beyond the boundary.

By bringing together sport, fashion, heritage and Caribbean culture, SUPERFAN, through its licensed West Indies Cricket collection, aims to offer fans another way to connect with the West Indies identity, while creating products that can resonate with both dedicated cricket supporters and those who may connect with the Caribbean and West Indies brand from outside the traditional cricket audience.

The debut SUPERFAN x West Indies Cricket collection will be available from October 4th, 2026, at shopsuperfan.com.
