The West Indies Women suffered a four-wicket defeat against Zimbabwe in the second ODI at Harare Sports Club today.
West Indies were bowled out for 139 in 39.3 overs, with veteran Stafanie Taylor making 47 and Ashmini Munisar adding 20. Zimbabwe reached 140-6 in 40.5 overs to secure the victory. Modester Mupachikwa scored 38 and Josephine Nkomo made 30.
The result leaves the three-match ODI series 1-1, setting up a decisive third match on September 30.
The series is part of the West Indies Women’s wider preparation following their recent T20 World Cup campaign.
