Launched in February of this year, the annual Masters Promotions/Ivanoff Vodka Nationwide Domino Tournament has been in full effect in all ten (10) Administrative Regions across Guyana. Nail biting competitions have been executed in Linden, West Bank and West Coast Demerara, Lethem, East Coast and East Bank Demerara, Mahaicony, New Amsterdam, Charity, Bartica, Georgetown and other areas. Victorious teams have earned trophies, cash prizes and a grand opportunity to participate in the Playoffs scheduled for May 1-3 2026 at the Sophia Exhibition Center in Georgetown. Additionally, Ivanoff Vodka bottle prizes and dominoes have been distributed to all teams that have signed up in every leg of the tournament.

On May 1, there will be a King and Queen Domino Competition which will allow every viable player to enter for just G$2,000 (re-entry of G$1,500). It is a winner-take-all for each category (male and female) with cash, trophies, hampers, and other fabulous prizes up for grabs. Additionally, there will be well-stocked food and drink bars, along with a cocktail bar, compliments of Ivanoff Vodka. Several entities will also have their products on display and samples will be distributed.

On May 2 and 3, the Playoffs will take place. This means every winning team from the Regional Competitions will vie for the top spot during two days of exhilarating bouts. Large cash prizes, trophies and other goodies are on the line, not to mention bragging rights for a year.

Government officials and other distinguished members of society will be in attendance to bear witness to domino greatness. The media, in its entirety, is also invited to cover this event for all three (3) days. Refreshments will be provided.

For more than a decade, Ivanoff Vodka has remained a dedicated supporter of dominoes in Guyana, reinforcing its commitment to community engagement, national pride and the empowerment of both men and women through sport. Through sustained investment and sponsorship, the brand continues to play a pivotal role in preserving one of Guyana’s most treasured recreational traditions while promoting unity, sportsmanship, and cultural celebration nationwide.
