Dear Editor,

Since I’ve had no response from previous correspondence, from either official or unofficial sources, I write again. Once again today, Tuesday 4th November, at 2:46pm “blackout” compliments of Guyana Power and Light, compliments of many millions spent everyday on two Turkish power ships, compliments of assurances more than a year ago by our government that “blackouts” will end.

 Ordinary citizens, in particular the under class, who can not afford to purchase, or maintain a generator, regularly experience distress and strain happening as I dictate this letter. The big question is why?
