I have never been, nor will I ever be, the type of leader who follows the “yes Comrade leader ” approach. That is not for me. Leadership, in my eyes, is not about blind obedience or seeking favour —it is about standing firm on principle, even when that stance is unpopular.

I am fully aware that my boldness will not make me the most liked individual in the political arena. But popularity has never been my pursuit. Representation has. I carry the responsibility of countless people who look up to me and depend on me to speak on their behalf, to fight for their interests, and to hold the line against mediocrity. That is the duty I have chosen, and it is one I will never betray.

Opposition Parties Asleep While Government Campaigns On

At this point in our party’s history, the stakes are too high for weakness, indecision, or complacency. Whoever cannot stand firm for the party, for its values, and against the creeping culture of mediocrity is not demonstrating caution—they are demonstrating paranoia.

Leadership requires courage, clarity, and conviction. Without these qualities, we are reduced to mere shadows of what the people expect us to be.

I know where I stand, and I know why I stand there. Whether others like it or not, my commitment remains to the people, to the principles of integrity, and to a party that must be guided by strength, not fear.
