National Blind Cricket Team 2025

The Guyana Blind Cricket Association (GuyBCA) has selected their national blind cricket team to represent the country at the upcoming 11th Regional Blind Cricket Tournament to be held in Barbados.  The tournament is scheduled from May 21 to May 28, 2025.  The national team will participate in a forty (40) overs round robin competition and a T-20 championship.  GuyBCA will like to express sincerest gratitude to all the companies and individuals who contributed to facilitate the team’s participation in the tournament.  The organization will also like to thank the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports for their support.

The squad of seventeen (17) will be led by Kevin Douglas West Indies blind cricketer.  The team also includes West Indies blind cricketers Ganesh Singh and Leroy Phillips.  Also in the squad are West indies female blind cricketers Rosemarie Ramitt, Robecka Edinboro, Ackila Smith and Crystal Aulder.  The team will be coached by Travis Mohamed and managed by Mahendra Algu.  Shaniyah English will be the physiotherapist.
