GTTA Names Senior Table Tennis Squad for 2025 Internationals

The Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) has announced its senior national training squad for 2025 as preparations ramp up for a busy international season, including the Caribbean Senior Table Tennis Championships set for June 16–22 in Barbados and the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games.

The squad blends veteran experience with rising talent and marks the resumption of GTTA’s year-round technical and tactical training programme, aimed at elevating the nation’s competitiveness on the international stage. Both team-based and personalised training regimens will be implemented to strengthen elite performance.

Jonathan Van Lange, Krystian Sahadeo, Malachi Moore, Colin Wong, Umar Percival, Salih Rahim, Chad Outar, Aaron Hopkinson, Travis Lyken, Akel Hall, Akeem Hall, Kayden Meusa, Rensford Beaton, Zamani Johnson, Abinora Johnson

Next Gen Girls Squad

Jasmine Billingy, Samara Sukhai, Akira Watson, Angela Robinson, Shakecy Damon, Seona Barker

The GTTA is also inviting table tennis players of Guyanese descent living overseas to express interest in joining the national team. Interested athletes should email guyanatabletennis@gmail.com with details of their recent performances and training background.

The GTTA reaffirmed its commitment to long-term athlete development and fostering a high-performance culture, with the goal of elevating Guyana’s profile in regional and global table tennis.
