Dear Editor,

I noted a letter titled ‘I switched from APNU to the PPP/C,’  written by Shaun Smith, Stabroek News, April 16, 2025.

In a free world, even where information is withheld from the public, Mr. Smith is entitled to have that letter written. I will make two comments. First, pity  the man who was blinded by glitter and pity the man who  is perched on the precipice of not knowing or understanding all of the circumstances.

Second, I don’t know that I know this gentleman, but his name suggests he may have a Christian background. Let us not forget that Jesus of Nazareth had twelve disciples. One doubted him, one denied him and one betrayed him for thirty pieces of silver.

Amen! Amen! Amen!

Good luck Mr. Smith.

Yours truly,

Hamilton Green

Elder
