Friday October 18, 2024 Moot Court Guyana (MCG) launched its first mooting competition of the 2024/2025 academic year with its International Law Mooting Competition (“the ILMC”). MGG in a statement said the moot scenario for the competition raised questions of: i) international dispute resolution under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (“UNCLOS”), ii) international humanitarian and human rights law, and public international law issues such as immunity.

The scenario was drafted by Mr. Neville Bissember, Lecturer, Department of Law, University of Guyana (UG).
