Over a month after announcing a $3M reward to anyone with information about the West Coast Berbice (WCB) teen murders, the Guyana Police Force (GPF) has republished this request notifying the public that investigations are still ongoing.

In a Facebook post on Saturday evening, the GPF stated: “The Guyana Police Force (GPF) wishes to notify the general public that investigations into the murders of Joel Henry, Isaiah Henry and Haresh Singh are ongoing. Police investigators are diligently exploring every possible lead to bring the perpetrator(s) to justice and the GPF is therefore appealing to the general public to continue to assist in this effort.”

In recent weeks, criticism has intensified against the GPF regarding how it has treated with investigations into the murders. Recently, there have also been mixed emotions about the arrest of Colwyn Henry and Gail Johnson, the brother and mother of the late Joel Henry, due to failure to produce a physical driver’s license while driving.

Questions have also been asked about the Ministry of Home Affairs’ reluctance to provide Argentine Forensic expert, Dr. Luis Fondebrider with the necessary documents needed for the Argentine Team of Forensic Anthropology (EAAF) to render assistance to the GPF in solving the crimes.

Any person(s) who can provide information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators of the gruesome murders may contact the GPF on the following telephone numbers: 225-6411, 226-6978, 225-8196, 226-1326, 225-2227, 2253650, 225-7625, 227-1149, 232-0291, 232-0213, 330-2222, 911, or the nearest Police Station.

The GPF has assured the general public that all information received will be treated with the strictest of confidence in these ongoing investigations.
