Banks DIH Ltd has announced the launch of its subsidiary, BASI, which was commemorated with a grand opening ceremony on July 26, 2024 at the company’s location, Block ‘X’ Plantation Ruimveldt, Guyana.

BASI, incorporated in May 2019, has been active in various sectors since its inception. A key highlight of its operations is the collaboration with Daikin Applied Latin America LLC, the world’s largest air conditioner manufacturer, known for its high-quality products and standards.

The beverage giant in a release said on July 26, 2024, a significant milestone was achieved with the signing of a Non-Exclusive Distribution Agreement between Daikin Applied Latin America LLC and BASI. This agreement officially designates Banks Automotive and Services Inc. as the authorized distributor of Daikin products in Guyana.

Through this collaboration, BASI will offer a comprehensive range of Daikin products, including residential and commercial air conditioning systems. The company will provide full-service support for Daikin products, including installation, maintenance, and technical services.

BANKS said the partnership ensures that customers in Guyana will receive top-quality service and reliable climate control solutions.
