“It was an amazing experience to have the trophy in hand and take it on the turf here at Old Trafford. I’ve been to this great sports venue before, but this occasion had extra special significance as we’re bringing this prestigious ICC Men’s T20 World Cup trophy for fans to see and enjoy. To be part of an event with an illustrious sporting legend like Usain Bolt of amazing,”

Brathwaite said.

Bolt also enjoyed the occasion as he took photos and signed autographs for his adoring fans. He was joined by Ricardo “Bibi” Gardiner, the former Jamaica captain and Premier League footballer. Also on hand was Sam Billings, the former England batsman; while Bryan Robson, the former Manchester United and England captain, was the Club Ambassador and he interacted with Bolt and Brathwaite.

The event was joint organize by ICC and Manchester United. Philip Spooner, Media Operations Manager for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 said it was a fantastic collaboration and was delighted the partnership with Man U worked so well.
