And then there is one amongst us, who is of the conviction, he is well endowed, with the world’s biggest brain. However, aware we are, his sizeable head, doesn’t necessarily represent a bigger brain, since his head is likely to be of more water content than brain. As a matter of fact, even if he was endowed with a larger than normal brain, this doesn’t necessarily translate to higher intelligence, as he delusionally believes, since invariably, that too is likely to be of more water than cognitive braincells.

Nevertheless, this is what confronts us. Bharrat Roseann Jagdeo, of an evidently sizeable head, masquerading as a bonafide doctor and Oil & Gas Specialist. And being afflicted with Big Head Syndrome, he’s of the misplaced conviction, an Einsteinian intelligence, hath he. Thus, of such a conviction, he stratospherically elevated himself, to the apex of our Oil & Gas Sector. But of prior oil industry experience, he has none. As a matter of fact, his only oil experience, is his use of oil as a lubricant.

Notwithstanding this limitation, he remains of the irrevocable conviction, he is blessed with a King Solomon brain, therefore can effortlessly outwit us mere mortals. And so delusional is he, of this highly intellectualised brain, that when confronted with the issue of ring-fencing, he proffered a most unsound theory. However, being au fait with his intellectual impediments, the masses disregarded his rigmarole postulation, since of this they’re cognisant.

Ring-fencing serves to protect our oil profits, which has a direct correlation with our oil revenue. That is, in the absence of ring-fencing, there will be less profit share, which will equate to less revenue. However, the delusional Jagdeo, intellectually incapacitated by his Big Head Syndrome, idiotically argued the opposite, less revenue we will earn, if we were to ring-fence our oil projects. But then evidencing, his sizeable head encases a dunce brain, he soon was forced to concur, we would’ve earned more revenue had PPP ring-fenced our oil projects. Nevertheless, despite now in concurrence, Jagdeo and in extension PPP, obstinately refuse to instigate oil contract renegotiation. Therefore, in the absence of ring-fencing, Exxon is employing all manner of industry underhand tricks, to minimise our profit share.

Where such was evident, when Exxon used revenues from the Stabroek block, Liza 1 and 2, to conduct drilling operations in the Canje and Kaieteur blocks. Thereafter, and certainly conning, Exxon added the drilling cost for the Kaieteur and Canje blocks, to the original cost of the Liza 1 and 2. As a result, the total cost charged to Liza 1 and 2 rocketed, which was clearly their intent, reducing our profit share and ultimately our revenue. However, if these Blocks were ring-fenced, Exxon couldn’t have used the revenues earned in Liza 1 and 2, for drilling operations in the Canje and Kaieteur Blocks. Thus, considering Exxon’s objective is to maximise their revenue, Jagdeo and in extension PPP, should’ve been doing likewise, in ring-fencing our profits and projects. And it’s for this reason, in the absence of ring-fencing, we are foregoing millions of US$ in oil revenue.

Mark’s Take

The fact is, Jagdeo elevated himself to the apex of our Oil Sector, since he is of the delusional view, afflicted with Big Head Syndrome, he has the nation’s biggest brain. Of which, his symptomatic delusions are of such grandiose proportions, that he genuinely believes, he counts amongst the world’s, creme de la creme, in Oil & Gas. But this charlatan we know, thus can attest to his qualifications, or lack thereof. Where of his qualifications, he has a postgraduate Economic degree, from a Russian University for academic rejects. Which means, the charlatan has no Oil & Gas qualifications. Absolutely no qualifications whatsoever.

But such wouldn’t stop the masquerader, from his daily pontification, on matters of Oil & Gas. Such that, even as he pontificates, his lack of knowledge, is made blindingly obvious, with his frequently changing positions, like that of an experienced porn star. For firstly, he reported our oil disputed figure was US$214M. Only to later change his position, to it being US$11M then US$3M, before returning to his original position of US$214M. Then he took the cocksure position, ring fencing will negatively impact our revenue, only to soon after changing his position that it wouldn’t.

Thus, of the aforementioned, the conclusion is unambiguous. Bharrat Roseannn Jagdeo is a cluelessly avaricious charlatan, who is out of his depth. So much so, that he shouldn’t have had a place at the apex of our Petroleum Industry.
