Rupununi residents on Wednesday caught a bandit after he had robbed a woman of her motorcycle, police have reported.
According to the police one of two armed men who allegedly robbed a female domestic worker of her motorcycle about 17:45h Wednesday on Aranaputa Public Road, North Rupununi, was apprehended by police and public spirited citizens. The motorcycle was recovered and a firearm suspected to have been used in the commission of the crime, was found. Stringent efforts are being made to apprehend the other suspect.
