His Worship Pt. Ubraj Narine Mayor of the City of Georgetown is representing Guyana at the Cities Summit of the Americas (CSOA); Mayors Forum 2023 being held in the United States

The Cities Summit of the Americas (CSOA), which is being held in Denver Colorado, is a beneficial means of networking for different cities in the areas of financing, trade, and culture with the objective to empower local governments, businesses, and community organizations in developing innovative solutions for issues facing cities.

The theme of the 2023 Mayors forum is “Financing for sustainable growth of cities” and is hosted by the Cities Network of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Pan American Development Foundation (PADF).

Topics touched on were: Improving Cities Revenue, Public Service Delivery, Socio- Economic integration, Political integration, use of Digitalisation, Immigrant Advancement, mitigate against risks and calamities caused by climate change” and “With the incorporation of digital tools how can you increase the growth of your tourism economy.”
