Dear editor,

Bullies never stop until they encounter force. This is a harsh reality that many individuals and groups, including the African Guyanese community, are unfortunately all too familiar with.

Senior Counsel Stephen Fraser was neither a party to the action nor was he afforded any opportunity to be heard

The African Guyanese community is currently being cowed and bullied by various forces, including discriminatory government policies and racist rhetoric from social media mouthpieces. The fear that these actions instill in the African Guyanese community will not help their condition, but rather it will only serve to further marginalize and oppress them.

It is important that the African Guyanese community and its allies take a stand against these bullies and use force to push back against their actions. This might mean taking legal action, speaking out against discrimination, and organizing massive protests and boycotts to demand their rights and fair treatment. Only by standing up to bullies can the African Guyanese community hope to improve their condition and secure the rights and opportunities they deserve.
