The Ministry of Agriculture on Friday presented the Plaisance Seventh-Day Adventist Church with new farming equipment and tools.

The presentation was made days after the church’s leadership met with government representatives seeking support for converting part of the compound for agricultural purposes.

According to the church the tools will be used to help empower the youth in the church as part of the initiative to produce food locally for consumption, to eat healthy, and to be able to supply the larger community.
