Annandale teen stabbed five times by five robbers

A 16-year-old male student from Annandale, East Coast Demerara (ECD) was stabbed five times on Thursday after allegedly being robbed by five perpetrators armed with scissors.

According to the Police in Regional Division #4 ‘C’, they are investigating the alleged robbery which occurred in the afternoon hours of Thursday at Annandale.

The victim, who initially resisted the robbery, was dealt five stabs with the scissors before he was relieved of one laptop, one cellular phone, one music box and one backpack. The victim was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) where he was admitted as a patient waiting for surgery.
