Blueberry Hill man sentenced to two weeks imprisonment for breaching COVID-19 restrictions

A Blueberry Hill, Wismar, Linden man has sentenced to two weeks imprisonment for breaching the COVID-19 Emergency Measures.

The man, Clive Nobrega, was charged with Breach of Restriction on Social Activities as stipulated in the COVID-19 Emergency Measures 12/ 2020. Nobrega pleaded not guilty and was initially granted bail in the sum of $30,000 when he appeared before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrates’ Court on January 24, 2021.

Police said Nobrega re-appeared before the said Magistrate on January 27, 2020 and was sentenced to two weeks imprisonment.
