Porter injured in Five Star Backdam accident

A 23-year-old porter, who was a passenger of a lorry carrying registration number GYY 249, is currently a patient of the Georgetown Public Hospital after he received injuries from the lorry’s right wheel.

According to reports, on Tuesday the man, Navindra Balkaram, was attempting to assist another lorry GXX 7949, which was experiencing mechanical problems on the Five Star Backdam trail, North West District when the accident occurred.
