Democracy must be preserved

Dear Editor:
Democracy must be preserved at all cost, including the use of sanctions. When those that impose sanctions on others, seek to act just like those (and worse) upon whom they impose sanctions, they too must be condemned.

In the case of the recent events in Washington, DC the intellectual authors of the lawlessness, including Trump should face the full force of the law.
