Trio arrested for allegedly stealing $3M cement ransom from A. Mazarally & Sons

Three persons have been arrested for the theft of a cement ransom valued at $3M from A Mazarally & Sons Company Limited located at Buckhall, Essequibo River.

According to Police, the cement ransom was stored in a building in the Company’s compound which is secured by K.G.M and Tek Nine Security company.

Initial investigations reveal that on November 30, 2020 the item was lodged in the said building. However, checks on December 5, 2020 at about 08:45h revealed that the cement ransom was missing.
Investigations are ongoing.
