Dear Editor

Today a dead body was discovered in No. 3 Village, West Coast Berbice which has been subsequently
identified as 17 year old, Haresh Singh, who is the grandson of one of the persons being investigated for
the brutal murders of Joel and Isaiah Henry. Black Lives Matter Guyana would like to express our
heartfelt condolences to the relatives of Haresh Singh in their time of grief.
Over the last few days the situation in Guyana has seemingly taken a turn for the worst as innocent lives
are being lost for no reason. Black Lives Matter Guyana urges all citizens of Guyana to not lose sight of
our goal for justice by allowing our anger and emotions to inhibit us from making rational decisions
which will only result in chaos.

Black Lives Matter Guyana anticipates that the Guyana Police Force will pool all necessary resources for
a comprehensive and expeditious resolution of the investigations into the murders of The Henry Boys,
Orlando Jonas and Haresh Singh.
